I have fond memories of spending my summers walking over to my local library to take part in the summer reading program. I was (and still am!) a bit of a book worm, falling into the worlds of Trixie Belden and Sweet Valley High.
Libraries have come a long way since then and the Summer Reading Programs offer so much more than just reading. My local library here in Toronto is one of the first places I go every summer to find something fun to do with the kids. Here are 10 things you can do with your kids this summer at the library:
Puppet Show: The Paper Bag Princess

Richview Branch is having a puppet show presentation of Robert Munsch’s “The Paper Bag Princess”. Costumes such as crowns, masks and anything royal are highly encouraged. Drop-in for families. Daycare/camp groups please call ahead to register at 416-394-5120.
